Executive Director - Jeannie Hatch

 

Jeannie moved to the island in the Summer of 2012. She spent the first few years of her time enjoying her family and acquainting herself with island life. She has worked as a business owner and in administration for many years. She became the director in November 2014 and has been going strong since. She hopes to see the Island Community Center continue to thrive and grow. She works to make the center a place for everyone to enjoy. It is her desire to find what the community wants, to create programs that meet their needs and to establish collaborative relationships that help make community-wide events, such as the Great Down-Easter Egg Hunt, that become a tradition within the community.  She is dedicated to her family and is often found driving one of her 4 younger children around for practices, events, games or competitions. Her greatest joy is her family and the pride she has in them is quickly evident.
