Flash in the Pans will perform on Monday, August 30th on the Stonington Fish Pier to benefit the ICC and Island Fishermen's Wives.The Island Community Center strives to provide facilities and programs for all members of the community to enhance their well being.
In some places we would be called a "recreational center" or "YMCA". In this community we are called simply the Community Center. Here, our senior citizens gather to socialize and play cards; children participate in summer camp and private birthday parties; classes such as aerobics and hunter's safety are taught; and town's people gather for public hearings and meetings.
Located in the Stonington gym building, up the hill from the fish pier.
