During the past year we received financial support from
the taxpayers of the two Island towns, grants from the United
Way of Eastern Maine, the Eleanor Stitch Recreational Trust,
St. Brendan-the-Navigator Episcopal Church, Pencoyd Foundation,
the Deer Isle-Stonington School Dept., Healthy Peninsula
Project, Bar Harbor Banking and Trust (as well as other's
involved with the golf tournament), the Whale's Rib Restaurant
and the Reach Community Club. Flash in the Pans held a fund
raising concert. We continue the ongoing bottle drive at
Burnt Cove Market have sent out the annual appeal letter & held an annual auction each summer.
Many citizens donated supplies, equipment and food to the
center and we are most grateful to all of you for your generous
support.
